Are mandatory fields taken into account for the "Immediate registration" function?

To capture event registrations from guests directly in an email, without having to direct the guest to the registration form, the "Direct-Register" function can be integrated as a link or button. You can find the corresponding macro in the mailing editor in the "Macros - Registration" dropdown.

When the button or link is clicked, the registration form is skipped, and the guest is directly taken to the confirmation page of the form. At the same time, the guest is recorded as "registered" in the guest list, and – if configured in the form – a confirmation email is sent.


Note: Do not use this function if you need to collect guest data during registration. In this case, direct the guest to the registration form to fill out the required fields before registering for the event. Any mandatory fields set will be ignored by the "Direct-Register" function, and the guest will always be taken to the confirmation page.
