Using header images and logos

Using header images and logos

To design your event website and mailings, you can use a header image or logo that is displayed at the beginning of the website or mailing.
You have the option to use a header image and/or logo "globally" for all subpages of your event website as well as all mailings, or – depending on the need – to set a specific header image and/or logo for each subpage or mailing. The default setting for each event is to use a "global" header image and logo.

Design "Full Width"

Header image format: 1960 x 720 pixels (WxH)

Design "Paper"

Header image format: 1200 x 314 pixels (WxH)

The header image has a fixed width of 1200 pixels and a flexible height; a format of 1200 x 314 pixels has proven successful for many events. Header images with a smaller (or larger) width will be scaled to 1200 pixels. Although the height of the header image is variable, it should be between 314 and 750 pixels. Adhere to these guidelines to achieve a high-quality appearance. Also, ensure that the file size does not exceed 700kb.
Header image for wallet tickets on smartphones: If you want to offer your participants an electronic ticket with a QR code in wallet format on their smartphones (similar to an airline ticket), a header image with a format of 1200 x 314 pixels is required. If your header image has a height of more (or less) than 314 pixels and you want to display it on wallet tickets, you will need to upload a separate image in the format of 1200 x 314 pixels and assign it through > "Website" > "Tickets" > "Header image".

Logo format: 1080 x 60 pixels (WxH)

The optional logo has a fixed height of 60 pixels – do not deviate from this guideline to ensure a high-quality appearance. The width of the header image is variable but should not exceed 1080 pixels. Also, ensure that the file size does not exceed 500kb.

Logo for wallet tickets on smartphones: If you want to display the logo on the wallet ticket, please upload it additionally in the format of 320 x 80 pixels (WxH) and assign it through > "Website" > "Tickets" > "Logo".
Upload in the menu item > Design by dragging the files into the upload fields "Header image" or "Logo".
Possible file formats: PNG (including transparencies), JPG, GIF (including animations)

Using a header image or logo on a specific page or mailing

You can use a different header image (or logo) on a specific email or page than the event's default image. To do this, create another design in > Design by duplicating in the quick menu and upload the alternative header image (logo) into the newly created design. Then open the email or page and select the newly created design in the selection field > Design.

Hiding header images or logos

This allows you to hide the header image or logo on selected subpages of your event website and/or mailings.

You set this option directly in the element where the header image is to be omitted: directly on the respective subpage of the event website or in the respective mailing. Directly above the preview of the page or mailing, there is a checkbox "Show header image" or "Show logo", which is always activated by default. To no longer display the header image or logo, deactivate the checkboxes by removing the checkmark and save the settings.
