How to create Account Target Groups

Contacts can be segmented at account level using target groups. Among other things, these target groups can be created on the basis of individually created characteristics or the event history.

To create a target group on account level, open the menu item > Target groups and click on the button "Add Target group".  .

1. Filter by:

The filters that are now available are divided into the following groups:
  • Master Data: Standard master data fields
  • Custom fields - Account: All individually created master data fields
  • Custom fields - Event: All individual fields created on event level
  • Event: Registration status of specific events
  • Session: Registration status of sessions of specific events
  • Tag: All tags created on event level
  • Target group: All target groups created on event level
  • Order: Order status in specific events with ticketing
  • Check-in: check-in status or recorded interactions of specific events.

2.  select Parameters:

Select the other parameters until the "Insert" button appears. By clicking on the " Add " button, the formula will be entered in the "Filter definition" field.
You can repeat the process to add more criteria for segmentation.
When inserting a new formula line, "AND" is added at the end of the line above it. Only contacts that match both criteria - of the first and second line - will be displayed. If only one of the two must apply, then directly in the text field "Filter definition" change the automatic entry "AND" to an "OR".


The target group is now displayed in the list of > contacts: By clicking on the number in the "Contacts" column, the list of contacts can be displayed in > Contacts. 



Target groups can also be selected in > Contacts in the "Target group" field to display the filtered contacts.
