Initiate a mail merge of a guest segment

Initiate a mail merge of a guest segment

A mail merge is useful if you want to create name tags before your event and send them to a guest segment (e.g., your employees) in advance.

To start a mail merge, you first need a PDF configuration that you want to print in advance.

  1. In the backend, go to the tab > PDF and create a new PDF configuration by clicking on "Add PDF" ()
  2. Then choose your desired format.
See also: Available paper formats for the label printer
  3. Under "Restriction," select the guest segment for which you want to create a mail merge.
  4. Choose the contents that should appear on the name tag in the "Personalization" field.
  5. Then click > Save & To List

Now you are ready to start a mail merge.
  1. Select the created PDF from your list and choose the option > Mail Merge in the configuration's quick menu.
  2. A multi-page PDF will open with one page per name tag. You can then print these with a suitable printer or forward the PDF.
For very large guest segments, generating the PDF can take some time. Wait until the PDF opens in a new window before continuing!
