Overview of the various standard actions of the iOS app

In the Invitario iOS App, you can set standard actions for what should happen when scanning a QR code.

-

In the first settings window for standard actions, the following options are available:

  1. Event: Here you will find further standard actions at the event level.
  2. Sessions: Here you will find further standard actions at the event level (only visible if sessions are created in the event and the check-in configuration allows session check-in/-out).
  3. Contact Points: Here you will find further standard actions at the event level (only visible if contact points are created in the event and at least one contact point is selected in the check-in configuration).
  4. Search Only: The guest will be displayed in the guest list, but no check-in will be triggered (same behavior as guest search via search field).
  5. Search Only & Display: The guest details will be displayed.
  6. Search Only & Edit: The guest will be displayed and the guest details can be edited directly.
On the iPad, a standard action with "... & Display" has the same behavior as a standard action without "& Display" (e.g. Check-in & Check-in & Display), as the guest details can be displayed in the sidebar and do not cover the entire screen.

If you open the item "Event", "Sessions", or "Contact Points", you have more options to choose from:

> Event: Here you can select more standard actions:
  1. Check-in/-out: The guest will be checked in on the first scan, checked out on the second scan, checked in again on the third scan, and so on.
  2. Check-in/-out & Edit: The guest will be checked in on the first scan and the guest details can be edited directly, checked out on the second scan, checked in again on the third scan, and so on.
  3. Check-in/-out & Display: Same behavior as Check-in/-out, but guest details will also be displayed on iPhones and iPads.
  4. Check-in: The guest will be checked in on the scan. On a second scan, an error message will appear (guest already checked in).
  5. Check-in & Edit: The guest will be checked in on the first scan and the guest details can be edited directly, on a second scan an error message will appear (guest already checked in).
  6. Check-in & Display: After check-in, the guest details are displayed.
  7. Check-out: The guest will be checked out on the scan. If the guest has not checked in yet, an error message will appear (guest not checked in yet).
> Session: Select the session for which you want to check in your guests. Then you will have the same standard actions available as at the event level, but related to sessions.

> Contact Points: Select the contact point for which you want to register your guests. Then the following standard actions are available:
  1. Register Registers the guest for the selected contact point.
  2. Register & Edit Registers the guest for the selected contact point and opens the edit window.
  3. Register & Display Registers the guest for the selected contact point and displays the guest details.
