Setting Up Confirmation Messages in the "Confirmations" Tab
After a successful registration or cancellation, the registration form on the event website is hidden and a confirmation message – the so-called “browser confirmation” – is displayed to the guest.
"Confirmations" Tab
Set the contents of the browser messages in the form in the "Confirmations" tab in the respective text boxes: Here you enter the texts that will be displayed to the guest on the event website after a successful registration or cancellation.
Sending emails to companions is no longer possible due to data protection regulations, and this function has therefore been removed.
Invitario offers the possibility to differentiate between registration without companion, registration with companion, and cancellation in the texts:
- Text field "Registration successful": This text (registration confirmation) is displayed when a guest registers for the event without companions.
- Text field "Registration successful with companion": This is displayed to guests who register with a companion. This text field is only displayed if the registration of companions (anonymous or with data query) is activated.
Text field "Cancellation successful": This text (cancellation confirmation) is displayed when a guest cancels their registration for the event or responds with a decline to your invitation.
Confirmation Emails:
Set in the selection fields below the text boxes whether an additional confirmation email should be sent.
- Confirmation email for successful registration: Confirmation email is sent when a guest registers for the event without companions.
- Confirmation email with companion: Confirmation email is sent when a guest registers for the event with companions.
Email for cancellation: Confirmation email is sent when a guest cancels their registration for the event or responds with a decline to your invitation.
In the dropdowns below the respective text fields, you can choose from all the emails that have been created in > Mailings as "Registration Confirmation" or "Cancellation Confirmation" mailing types. Click on the respective "Edit Mailing" link to open them. Select "Do not send mail" in the dropdowns if no confirmation emails should be sent.
