Creating events in Invitario goes through three phases with different software requirements.
Phase 1: "Setup"
In this phase, the event is created by one or more users, including setting up designs, content for the event website and emails, or configuring registration processes. External access to events with the "Setup" status is restricted to prevent external individuals from interacting with the event before it is fully created.
- The event website displays the login page (if set up), but guest login is not possible.
- If you have set up an event calendar for all events in your account, events with the "Setup" status will not be displayed there.
- In events with this status, bulk emails cannot be sent, only test emails to test guests.
Phase 2: "Active"
Once the event setup is complete, the event can be set to "active". Now, bulk mailings, such as the invitation email to all guests, can be sent, login on the event website is possible, and the event is displayed in the event calendar.
Phase 3: "Archived"
When the event is complete and no longer needed, it can be "archived". The event website and registration form(s) are no longer available online. Important: In the "archived" status, no data is deleted; the event is simply no longer accessible from the outside. Archived events can still be accessed and duplicated in the account management via the event list.
Information on Special Status "Event Wizard": Events created with the Event Wizard are assigned the status "Event Wizard". This status is set automatically and the event remains in this status until the process is complete. After completion, the event is set to "Setup" status. Events with this status cannot be duplicated. When accessing these events, you will be redirected to the page of the Event Wizard where the process was interrupted.
