Update & Release Report No. 15: Check-in tool as browser version (March 2019)
Release "Web-Check-in"
With the implementation of the "Web-Check-in," digitally receiving guests at events is no longer restricted to the use of the iOS app. Any hardware with an installed browser, including notebooks and Android devices, can now be used for guest check-in at events, alongside Apple devices.
The features already known from the app are available:
- Search and check-in of guests and their companions
- Scan and check-in of guests and their companions (device compatibility required, or an external hand scanner is necessary when using notebooks)
- Add and check-in new guests and companions
- Print personalized name badges or accreditations
- Restrict to guest segments
- Filter by registration and check-in status
- Display guest tags
- Mark favorites (push notifications do not work in Web-Check-in)
- Capture guest interactions
- Create color schemes to easily distinguish different check-in configurations
- Define a maximum number of check-in stations per configuration
Additional features available in Web-Check-in:
- Edit guest data during check-in
- When using notebooks for Web-Check-in, all notebook-compatible printers can be used (the app requires AirPrint-enabled printers), such as plastic card printers
- Batch printing of name badges in Web-Check-in
- Display all master data and individual fields in the guest detail view in Web-Check-in (the app only displays certain master data fields)
- Improved filter options for the guest list in Web-Check-in
- Instant result display for manual name search
- Extended system notifications
- Default filter for ticket types
- Additional color schemes added
- Features for printing name badges via browser
