Update & Release Report No. 21: Dynamic waiting list, offline badge print (February 2020)
The functional areas of Waitlist, Event Templates, Event Settings, and the Check-in App have received updates.
- Waitlists can now be "dynamically" deactivated and reactivated to prioritize the full utilization of available spots. To learn more about what this means and how it works, read here.
- The printing function of the Check-in App is now also offline-capable. The print files for name badges are now generated in the app and sent to the connected printer. This ensures stable printing during check-ins, even with volatile or no internet connection. Additionally, printers can now be connected via Bluetooth, providing a more stable connection between the device and the printer. - Preview in Event Templates: When creating events using event templates, a preview of each event template's website is now displayed. This increases clarity and makes it easier to select the desired event template. To learn how to create events from an event template, click here.
- Switching between open and closed events: When creating events with the Event Wizard, you can choose between open and closed events. This setting can now be changed for already created events or in event templates under > Settings in the > Website & Mailing tab. Learn more about event settings here.
