Using sessions in Invitario
Typical uses of sessions
You can use sessions in a number of different ways in your event processes:
-
Sessions: Guests can or have to register for one or several sessions such as workshops or other events offered alongside or in addition to the main event.
-
Dates: When registering for a recurring event or event series such as a roadshow, guest will have to select a date before being able to register for the event.
-
Slots: This is a more complex version of the “Dates” option which involves offering guests a larger number of choices such as tours given at 15-minute intervals as part of an all-day event or a personal consultation with advisers at a trade show. Guests will furthermore be able to filter the available slots by certain criteria (e.g. time, place) during the registration process.
Integrating sessions into the registration process
Sessions can be integrated into a number of different configurations and registration forms in the form of session calendars:
-
As a choice of dates on the homepage: To show and allow guests to select dates or date/time slots before forwarding them to the registration form (
