Create a session calendar to display the selected "sessions" of a guest
Session calendars are a special type of content block that are available to you when creating dynamic content, in addition to text blocks.
Creating a session calendar to display the selected sessions of a guest:
First, create your sessions (e.g., workshops, side events, etc.) in the menu item > Sessions. Assign session categories if necessary.
To create a session calendar as dynamic content, open > Dynamic Content and click the "Add Content" icon .
Now, select the option "Session Calendar" in the dropdown menu under the standard text field and delete the standard text block if necessary using the remove icon .
Configure session calendar
Select the option "Selected sessions of a guest" in the dropdown menu “Entries”.
Leave the option "No restriction" in the “Segments” field.
Enter one or more session categories in the “Category” field if needed, to limit the display to sessions of these categories.
Choose between the display styles “Table” or “Tiles”. Only the “Table” display is supported for embedding in mailings.
Select the value for the “Label” of the session in the calendar. For workshops or side events, “Name” is recommended.
To group sessions, select the desired grouping in the “Grouping” field, e.g., “Grouped by date” if you want to display the selected sessions of the guest grouped by days.
Select the desired data to be displayed in the calendar in “Displayed data”. Only data actually entered in the respective session will be displayed.
Deactivate all checkboxes in the “Options” group.
Activate all checkboxes in the “Included entries” group.
Deactivate all checkboxes in the “Available filters” group.
This type of session calendar only works for guests with completed registration and selected sessions. Note this when embedding, which could occur in confirmations, for example.
When creating sessions, the system automatically creates a dynamic content "Session Calendar". You can use this to configure your calendar.
The content type "Session Calendar" is also available in > Website to configure session calendars directly in the content area of a > Website. The advantage of using dynamic content is the flexible and multiple embedding in different places.
